This week, all grades came together to celebrate a joyful Christmas party filled with music, laughter, and festive cheer. From the very beginning, the children were excited to share this special time with friends from different classes.
今週、全学年が集まり、音楽や笑顔にあふれたクリスマスパーティーを楽しみました。クラスを超えて一緒に過ごす特別な時間に、子どもたちは朝からワクワクしていました。

We began with circle time, singing cheerful Christmas songs together. We also celebrated a very special moment—John’s birthday—which brought even more smiles and laughter to the room.
サークルタイムでは、みんなでクリスマスソングを歌いました。また、ジョンのお誕生日もお祝いし、会場はさらに明るい雰囲気に包まれました。

Suddenly, we heard the sound of bells, and to the children’s delight, Santa Claus appeared. The children welcomed him warmly and enjoyed a question-and-answer time, asking thoughtful and imaginative questions.
すると鈴の音が聞こえ、なんとサンタクロースが登場。子どもたちは大喜びで迎え、質問タイムでは今年もたくさんの素敵な質問が飛び交いました。

Santa then handed out presents to everyone. The children accepted their gifts politely, remembering to say “thank you,” which was a lovely moment to witness.
サンタさんからプレゼントを受け取り、子どもたちは一人ひとり丁寧にお礼を伝えていました。その姿がとても印象的でした。

After that, we enjoyed several Christmas games, including a ring toss, musical chairs, and a Christmas memory game. Each activity encouraged turn-taking, concentration, and cheering for friends, making the games fun for all ages.
その後は、輪投げや椅子取りゲーム、クリスマスメモリーゲームなどを楽しみました。順番を守ったり、お友だちを応援したりしながら、年齢に応じた関わりが見られました。

The children also enjoyed a special violin and piano concert by Beyondia Musica. They listened carefully and happily sang along when they recognised familiar songs.
Beyondia Musicaによるバイオリンとピアノの演奏もあり、子どもたちは耳を傾けながら、知っている曲では一緒に口ずさんでいました。

We ended the celebration with snack time and a Christmas story. Through the story, the children learned about the true meaning of Christmas—kindness, generosity, and caring for others.
最後はおやつとクリスマスのお話の時間。物語を通して、優しさや思いやりといったクリスマスの大切な意味に触れることができました。

It was a warm and memorable day that truly captured the spirit of Christmas.
心温まる、思い出に残るクリスマスの一日となりました。
