発見の一日：K2 & K3 サイエンスミュージアム見学

Today was a day full of excitement and curiosity as our K2 and K3 students embarked on a long-awaited field trip to the Science Museum in Tokyo! From the moment we boarded the bus, the children were buzzing with energy—singing songs, chatting about what they might see, and sharing their predictions.
今日は、K2とK3の子どもたちが待ちに待った東京の科学技術館への遠足に出かけました。バスに乗った瞬間から子どもたちは大興奮。歌を歌ったり、「何が見られるかな？」とおしゃべりしたり、予想をシェアしたりしてワクワクしていました。

Upon arriving at the museum, we divided into smaller groups so everyone could explore at their own pace. Our main adventure took place on the 4th and 5th floors, where interactive exhibits encouraged hands-on discovery and playful learning.
博物館に到着すると、小さなグループに分かれて、それぞれのペースで探検を始めました。冒険の舞台は主に4階と5階。たくさんの体験型展示があり、子どもたちは遊びながら楽しく学ぶことができました。

The children were thrilled to press buttons, spin wheels, and experiment with various exhibits. Some were captivated by the giant gears and machines, while others delved into electricity stations and science puzzles. They also enjoyed exciting simulations and explorations, such as sitting inside a fire truck, trying out a motorbike, driving a car simulator, riding a bicycle simulator, or even designing their own bicycle on a computer program. Other favourites included taking 360-degree photos, playing with steam and bubbles, exploring architecture, experimenting with sound, and much more.
子どもたちはボタンを押したり、ハンドルを回したり、さまざまな展示を体験して大喜びでした。大きな歯車や機械に夢中になる子もいれば、電気の実験や科学パズルに挑戦する子もいました。さらに、消防車に座ってみたり、バイクに乗ってみたり、車のシミュレーターを運転したり、自転車のシミュレーターを体験したり、コンピュータで自分の自転車をデザインしたりと、わくわくする体験がたくさんありました。他にも360度カメラで写真を撮ったり、蒸気やシャボン玉で遊んだり、建築や音の展示を探検したりと盛りだくさんでした。

Everywhere we looked, questions flew: “What happens if I try this?” and “Why is it moving like that?”—a true testament to their natural curiosity and inquisitive minds.
あちこちで「これをやったらどうなるの？」「なんでこう動くの？」と質問が飛び交い、子どもたちの自然な好奇心と探求心があふれていました。

One of the most heartwarming aspects of the day was seeing the children share their discoveries with friends. Some eagerly explained what they had learned, while others invited classmates to explore exhibits together. This spirit of teamwork and collaboration made the experience even more meaningful and memorable.
一日の中で特に心温まる場面は、子どもたちが友だちと発見を分かち合う姿でした。学んだことを一生懸命説明する子もいれば、一緒に展示を探検しようと友だちを誘う子もいました。こうした協力とチームワークの精神が、体験をさらに特別で思い出深いものにしてくれました。

After a day packed with exploration, we returned to school for reflection. Our K3 students excitedly shared their favourite parts of the trip:
探検でいっぱいの一日を終え、学校に戻って振り返りをしました。K3の子どもたちは、自分のお気に入りの体験を楽しそうにシェアしてくれました：

• Eita: “The driving!”
• Tamaki: “I liked the car too!”
• Sakurako: “The big bubbles!!”
• Tamaki: “The bubbles were fun too!!”
• Sazane: “I liked doing the driving too—the white car!!”
• Aoto: “I LIKED LUNCH TIME!!”
• Sora: “Oh me too. Lunch was fun!”
• Ruri: “Bubbles were fun!”
• Sazane: “I liked the medicine room!”
• Jayden: “Me too!”
• Sazane: “Taking photos dressed up like the doctor!!”
• Jayden: “I liked the game where we beat the viruses!”

It was a day of wonder, learning, and pure joy—one that our K2 and K3 students will cherish for a long time.
まさに驚きと学び、そして純粋な喜びにあふれた一日。K2とK3の子どもたちにとって、長く心に残る大切な思い出となりました。
