Every week, our Pumpkin and Peanut classes enjoy lively rhythmic lessons following a familiar structure—calling names, walking and stopping, listening to rhythms, scarf play, and a calming goodbye activity—while adding something new, like a seasonal game or story. Recently, our youngest learners and their parents from the Baby & Mommy program have been joining these lessons, creating a wonderful opportunity for early social and musical development.

パンプキン・ピーナッツクラスでは、毎週リトミックのレッスンを楽しんでいます。レッスンは名前呼び、歩いて止まる、リズムを聴く、スカーフ遊び、最後の落ち着きの時間、といった基本の流れに沿って行われ、季節のゲームやお話など、新しい要素も取り入れています。最近では、ベビー＆ママプログラムのお友だちと保護者も参加しており、親子での音楽や運動体験を通して、社会性や表現力を育む貴重な機会となっています。

For the babies, these lessons are often their first encounters with a small preschool community. Being in a group setting with other children and adults, even while holding onto their parents, helps them gradually become familiar with social routines, group participation, and cooperative play. Observing the slightly older Pumpkins and Peanuts moving to music and following simple instructions provides a gentle introduction to learning in a group, fostering curiosity, attention, and early confidence.

The lessons combine movement, rhythm, and playful expression, allowing babies to explore their bodies, respond to music, and interact with their environment in a safe, supportive setting. Parents also gain insight into early learning and play, strengthening the bond with their child while helping them navigate these new social experiences.

リトミックのレッスンでは、身体を使った表現やリズム遊びを通して、ベビーが安全な環境で身体感覚や音楽への反応を学び、周りの環境との関わりを体験します。保護者もお子さまの成長や学びの様子を間近で見守ることができ、親子の絆を深めながら、新しい社会体験を支えることができます。

By joining these rhythmic lessons, babies gain early exposure to community life, social interaction, and creative expression—all essential foundations for future preschool experiences.
