This month’s theme was “Ready, Action!” It was indeed an action-packed month, in which we held a busy bazaar and visited the fire station twice! But maybe you already read about these events on our blog. Today, let’s talk about how our busy kindies spent the rest of the month: a field trip to the Metro Museum, and long hours rehearsing for the Winter Show!
We visited the Metro Museum and learned all about subway, or Underground, trains. The kids could not only look and learn, but also simulate driving a train themselves! It was a lot of fun for everyone. Thanks class moms for your help!
This month was all about acting and theatre, and the kids learned some acting and listening games, all in order to help with the long, difficult but rewarding rehearsal process for the Winter show! The K1s and K2s would perform both a chorus and instrumental ensemble, and an amazing play called Dragon’s Christmas. The K3s would sing, play a beautiful handbell song, and stage a very difficult production of “Pinocchio!”
All the students worked really hard and made the teachers very proud. Would the show be a success? You’ll have to read next month’s blog to find out! Happy New Year!
