そつえんじの おともだち へ
いつまでも じぶんをしんじて いろいろなことに ちゃれんじして
そして かぞくや おともだちを たいせつにしてね
せんせいたちは ずっとずっと みんながだいすきだよ😄
The day of graduation for our two beloved K3 students came on March 17th. It was really hard to believe that this time would come so quickly. It feels like we have just begun the 2017-2018 class a short moment ago! Time runs really fast when we are enjoying it.
The boys practiced really hard singing songs and presenting speeches all month for this very special and important day! They felt a little nervous about the ceremony as they really wanted to be perfect for their precious families.
As expected from the K3 students, Ryuki and Sion did their best and showed everyone how much they grew up over the period of three years in FunShine Academy Kinder Class.
We remember them as two little boys who, like every child starting their kindergartener life, needed a lot of guidance in their studies, friendships and school routines.
On the day of the Graduation Ceremony we presented kindergarten diplomas to two ☆big, strong and incredibly reliable boys.☆
☆The boys that always helped others and did their best at school.☆
☆The boys that made their parents and teachers proud so many times!☆
☆The boys that decided that they want to be a great pianist and paleontologist instead of repeating almost all boys’ dreams of becoming a sportsman.☆
☆The boys that sang goodbye to our kindergarten in both English and Japanese.☆
☆The boys that could handle sitting and standing for a long time, listening to the grown-up speeches of the grown-ups.☆
☆The boys who never said: “I don’t want to do this. It’s boring.”☆
There were so many bittersweet tears of sadness mixed with joy.
The children looked at their teachers and parents crying, with a look of confusion in their eyes;
“Why are the teachers crying? Why is my mommy and daddy crying? They don’t look hurt and they didn’t get into a fight with anyone. I don’t understand it.”
“We are crying because we can’t believe how fast you have grown up. We are crying because, even though we are happy for your graduation, it is really difficult to let you go,”
is probably the best answer. But, this moment is about the children, not about the adults and their feelings. So, we keep quiet and accept these feelings.
It is very hard to say goodbye to someone we love and cherish. We learn it as we grow up. But, we also know that both of the boys are ready to start their education on the new level; elementary school. Both of them look forward to becoming first graders, learning new things and meeting new friends and teachers.
Dear Strawberry boys- we made so many wonderful memories together! Please, keep them in your heart and remember that, whenever you miss your friends and teachers from the kindergarten, you can come to play with us! We will be waiting for you!
It is not a “farewell”. It is a “see you later!”
FunShine Academy loves you!
